A witness in court during the Deborah Seyram Adablah case has revealed how her arrogant and disrespectful behaviour led to her being jailed for 45 days.
Adablah, the infamous ‘sidechick’ who rose to prominence after suing her ‘sugar daddy’ for failing to fulfil his ‘bedroom promises’, is currently serving a 45-day jail term for contempt of court.
Adablah, in a video shared to social media while at a salon, attacked the trial judge in a case she brought against the seizing of a vehicle her sugar daddy gifted to her during their relationship.
After her insults, she was summoned to court to explain herself but reportedly failed to do so, leading to a bench warrant being issued for her arrest.
When Adablah appeared in court, she was non-apologetic, leading to her being handed a 45-day jail term.
A witness, speaking in an interview, revealed what happened that led to Adablah’s incarceration.
Arrogance and disrespect
According to the witness, when Adalah was called in open court and asked why she insulted the trial judge, she denied any wrongdoing.
The judge thus had the videos played in court and asked her if she was the person in the video, to which she replied in the affirmative.
Adablah was queried if the video accurately portrayed what she said about the judge, which she also admitted.
Prior to taking any action, the judge reportedly asked Adablah about her date of birth, but she claimed she could not remember.
All these evasions and glib responses mirrored the disrespect shown in the videos, leading to her eventual incarceration.
What Adablah said against the Judges
In a video recorded while braiding her hair, Deborah Adablah attacked the judiciary out of frustration over the lack of progress in her legal case.
She attacked two judges who had adjudicated her grievances against her sugar daddy and used insulting words. She said they were being paid with her tax money and were still biased against her.
Adablah also shared certain threats, insinuating she could take the case of the judges to ‘juju’ to seek redress if they did not do the right thing by her.
