Adablah declared wanted

On Monday, May 5, an Accra High Court declared Seyram Adablah a wanted woman and issued a bench warrant for her arrest.

Adablah was wanted for contempt of court after reportedly passing disparaging remarks against the trial judge in her case against her former lover cum ‘sugar daddy’, Ernest Kwasi Nimako.

Reports indicate she shared certain videos on social media on the case and refused to show up to answer the court’s summons.

The trial judge finally issued a bench warrant for her arrest to answer for her misconduct.

Adablah responds

Following news of a bench warrant being issued for her arrest, Adablah took to social media to warn the Ghana Police against attempting to forcibly arrest her.

In her viral social media video, she said she is ready to surrender to officers.

However, she said she will create a scene and make things difficult for them if they attempt to forcibly arrest, harass or assault her.

“Ghana Police Service, the judge on my case is citing me for contempt and has issued a bench warrant against me,” she said. “I am formally or informally reporting myself. I don’t want any of your men to maltreat me, lay hands on me… I don’t want that. If you want me, I know I am wanted so I will avail myself. When you do that (forcible arrest), I am going to petition against you,”
