A Ghanaian student in the United States of America, identified as Kwadwo Boaitey Frimpong, has been arrested and set to be deported after he was convicted on charges of child p*rngraphy.
Frimpong, 32, was arrested Tuesday, May 1, by agents of the Enforcement and Removal Operations (ERO) in Baltimore, Maryland. Frimpong was charged with seven counts of possession of child p*rn and pleaded guilty.
The Ghanaian entered the United States in 2019 on an F-1 Student visa, which allows foreign citizens the opportunity to study in the United States at a college or university.
During his time in the United States, Frimpong reportedly deviated from his studies and pursuit of excellence, instead delving into criminality.
Authorities raided the Ghanaian’s Maryland home, where they reportedly discovered over 2000 images and over 100 videos on his personal electronic devices. He pleaded guilty before a judge and received a 24-month jail sentence.

Video of arrest
Rapid Response 47, an X account that describes itself as supporting U.S. President Trump’s ‘America First’ agenda, shared a video of Frimpong’s arrest by the ERO Baltimore.
In the video, an agent with a blurred face is seen reading out the charges against the Ghanaian prior to the raid to arrest him.
The agent said they have located Frimpong and are bringing him into custody to ensure he’s removed from the country.
Officers are seen stopping Frimpong as he gets out of his car. After he identified himself, officers announced they had a warrant for his arrest and placed him in cuffs before leading him to their vehicle and driving him away.
Frimpong is seen with a shocked and bewildered look over his arrest.
