Be Sensitive When Speaking About Anointed People — Dag Heward-Mills Responds to Inflammatory Attacks from Bulldog

Ghanaian man of God and founder and leader of the Lighthouse Chapel, Bishop Dag Heward-Mills, fired back at inflammatory attacks launched on his person on United Showbiz on UTV.

In a video shared to social media, the Ghanaian man of God warned that anyone who attacks an anointed man will have to contend with the holy spirit.

Dag Heward Mills was responding to several attacks he suffered after a video of him talking about not paying instrumentalists and singers in his church went viral.

Following the viral video, Bishop Heward-Mills was excoriated on the Saturday, April 19 episode of UTV’s United Showbiz, hosted by Empress Gifty.

Entertainment pundit Arnold Asamoah Baidoo attacked his position, quoting scripture to refute the claim that church workers should not be paid. Bulldog was far more blunt, slamming him for spewing ‘nonsense’.

“What he said is nonsense, it contains zero sense. If he is speaking for his church members, who he’s done a lot for, so they have to perform freely for him, I’ll understand. But if it is a general statement then it’s definitely nonsense,” Bulldog said. “As he stands in the pulpit to preach, is he not being paid… I even heard him saying he can play all the instruments; if that’s the case, when he comes to church, he should sit and play all the instruments himself!”

In a video apparently responding to the attacks, Heward-Mills warned people to be careful when attacking anointed men of God like him because they are offending the holy spirit.

He demonstrated his point, pouring anointing oil on himself. According to him, anyone who attacks him first has to attack the holy spirit, which could wreak all sorts of consequences on them.

Heward-Mills’ comments

Dag-Heward Mills had earlier said he helped many church members to learn how to play instruments by setting up a school where they could be trained for free from childhood. He added that he will never tolerate anyone trying to ‘bully’ him to be paid before performing in his church.
