You Are Using The Wrong Approach To Revive Kumawood- Osoode Tells Ashanti Regional Minister



Kumawood actor turned media personality following the mitigation of the Ghanaian movie industry, Osoode has cautioned the Ashanti Regional Minister on the ticket of the ruling NDC, Dr. Frank Amoakohene.

This came after the Regional Minister proclaimed that it was his wish to revive the movie industry, hence, plans are far advanced towards the reviving of the movie industry.

Following his proclamation, the regional minister slated a day to meet with the pioneers of the Kumawood movie industry.

The meeting that aimed at reviving the movie industry had in attendance Miracle Films, Abro, Anamon, Akwasi Aboagye, Matilda Asare, and Jackson K Bentum among other producers, directors, actors, and actresses.

In their meeting, they came to a consensus that a committee would be created to ensure that great things are done to ensure the movie industry is revived.

Following the meeting and the formation of the committee, actor Osoode has slammed the Ashanti Regional minister.

Speaking in an interview with Zionfelix sighted by Ghanacelebrities.com, Osoode disclosed that the Ashanti Regional minister is using the wrong approach to revive the movie industry.

He noted that the minister should take into consideration that there were numerous aged persons, however, the president appointed him to become the Ashanti Regional minister.

He noted that even though the sole reason for his appointment is yet to be made to the public, it is not far-fetched from the fact that he is young and vibrant.

Osoode claims in meeting the actors, actresses, directors, and producers, the Ashanti Regional minister should have included the young ones, instead of the aged.

Osoode believes that working hand in hand with the aged is going to make reviving the industry a difficult task.

Meanwhile, Osoode praised the Ashanti Regional minister for his hard work and willingness to revive the Kumawood movie industry.
