Popular social media influencer and co-host of the Rants, Bants and Confessions podcast, Adjoa Tee, stunningly revealed that she was pregnant for two months without knowing about it.
Speaking during a recent episode of the podcast, during which Kumawood actress Joyce Boakye, made an appearance, Tee got personal as she spoke about getting pregnant and losing the baby.
Tee emotionally recounted finding out she was pregnant after two months of not menstruating, only to miscarry a week later.
She said the occurrence took an emotional toll on her to the extent that she suffered depression.
Boakye, during her RBC appearance, revealed she suffered from a menstrual disorder, which made it very difficult for her to conceive for a very long time.
Her ordeal prompted Adjoa Tee to also speak up about her experience, telling Boakye, Efia Odo, and Rosey how she shockingly discovered she was pregnant.
“I didn’t even know I was pregnant. It was two months, and I didn’t even know,” Tee said. Joyce Boakye subsequently asked her why she did not realise she was pregnant after missing her period.
“I have the same menstrual disorder [you have],” Adjoa replied to Boakye. “My menses come for three days and stop. So I thought it was normal..I thought that month, me not getting it was normal, because it’s something I’ve been having,”
Tee continued that the next month, before the time for her menses to arrive, a co-worker noticed her breasts had gotten really heavy and asked her if she was pregnant and to go get herself checked. Following the test, Adjoa Tee found out she was pregnant for the first time in her life.
The social media sensation revealed that a week after discovering she was pregnant, she saw blood coming out of her body and visited the hospital, only to discover she had suffered a miscarriage.
