Ghanaian socialite and online personality Naa Adokailey Wopekuku, popularly known as Ayisha Modi, claims Stonebwoy never showed gratitude to former Black Stars forward Asamoah Gyan after the latter paid for the musician’s knee surgery.
Modi, formerly known as She Loves Stonebwoy due to her obsessive love and promotion of the reggae-dancehall superstar, is now engaged in a mostly one-sided feud with the ‘Everlasting’ hitmaker.
Modi revealed in a video on social media that Stonebwoy, whom she’s attacking for failing to show gratitude to her, never thanked ‘Baby Jet’ for almost a decade after the former Stars’ captain financed his leg surgery.
Stonebwoy, at the start of his career, had a strong, noticeable limp in one leg, which could not bend at the knee due to the effects of an accident he had many years prior.

Stonebwoy shattered his leg in the accident, and after it was reconstructed, it could not bend at the knee due to metal fillings used to support it.
He later fixed it by travelling abroad for surgery, but unknown to the public, the surgery was financed by Asamoah Gyan.
Modi claims that for close to a decade after Gyan helped Stonebwoy, the musician never showed any sort of gratitude to the former footballer. Modi alleged that Gyan got angry over Stonebwoy’s lack of gratitude and constantly called her to advise Stonebwoy to do the right thing.
She added that Stonebwoy eventually realised Gyan’s displeasure when the latter stopped picking his calls, forcing him to thank him for his help publicly.
Modi claims Stonebwoy showed the same kind of ingratitude to her, which is why she is currently attacking him on social media in numerous videos.
Recall that in 2023, Stonebwoy took to social media to reveal a massive secret in his life, informing the public for the first time that Asamoah Gyan had paid for his knee surgery over 7 years prior.
“@ASAMOAH_GYAN3 you came tru (through) for me around this same time 7 years on. you decided to take my surgery cost, I’m forever Grateful ♥️🙏.” Stonebwoy said at the time.
