Darkness Has Been Lifted – Kofi Adoma’s Wife Celebrates Major Improvement in His Eye Condition

Miracle Adoma, the wife of Ghanaian media personality Kofi Adoma, has revealed a stunning development has occurred on his road to recovery.

In a post shared on social media on Saturday, April 12, 2025, Miracle gave the most hopeful news about her husband’s current condition and hinted that he’s on the road to full recovery.

“No matter how high the sun shines in the afternoon, it must give way for the moon at night,” Miracle Adoma wrote from her current base in North Carolina in the United States of America. “Lord I am grateful for the life of my husband Kofi Adomah and the family. People, Light has come and darkness has been lifted,”

Her post elicited happy responses from her legion of followers, who celebrated her update like a World Cup victory.

One follower, Virtues Nkunim Tandoh, commented on her post: “May the light that has come into your life continue to guide and bless you and your family,”

Miracle Adoma’s post is the latest development in the ongoing saga of media personality Kofi Adoma’s near-blindness after an accident while covering an event.

Adoma traveled to Dormaa Ahenkro in the Bono Region in December to cover the Kwafie festival, which also doubled as the 25th anniversary celebration of the enstoolment of the current Dormaahene, Osagyefo Oseeadeayo Nana Agyeman Badu II.

A serious accident occurred during the festival as a gunner accidentally shot him in the eye. Adoma later revealed in a press conference organized to brief Ghanaians on his condition that he sought immediate relief to continue working but was too impaired to do so and traveled back to Accra for further treatment.

His condition continued to worsen to the point Adoma travelled abroad. His case generated intense public scrutiny after he received large sums of money from businessmen, including Ibrahim Mahama, his boss, Dr Kwaku Oteng of the Angel Broadcasting Network (ABN), and others. Controversy also followed the case after his wife, Miracle, called out the Dormaahene during the press conference Adoma organized, attacking the monarch for failing to check on Adoma since his injury at the festival.
