Contrary to earlier reports suggesting that Angel TV Presenter, Kofi Adoma had been shot, new details reveal that his injuries were sustained during a traditional musketry firing ceremony at a funeral.
According to reports, the CEO of Kofi TV is currently undergoing urgent medical treatment in Dubai following the unfortunate incident that occurred in Dormaa, Bono Region, last week.
The incident happened as Kofi Adoma attempted to reposition himself near a chief’s musket. Gunpowder from the musket accidentally struck his face, causing severe injury to one of his eyes. Per the reports that have surfaced online, he has lost sight in one eye, while the other has been left with blurry vision.
After receiving initial treatment in Ghana, Kofi Adoma was flown to Dubai for specialized care in an attempt to restore vision in the affected eye. A source close to the journalist disclosed, “He’s now in Dubai seeking to restore the one eye that is blurry. But it looks like the other one cannot see again.”
The revelation has sparked concern and well-wishes from fans and colleagues, with many expressing hopes for a successful recovery.
