Dzifa Gomashie is a celebrated actress, film producer, scriptwriter, and politician with decades of experience in the arts. She served as Deputy Minister of Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts from 2013 to 2017, where she played a key role in developing the Ghana Culture Policy and the Creative Arts Industry Bill. Her deep connection to Ghana’s cultural heritage and extensive contributions to the arts make her an excellent fit for the position.
Currently, Gomashie is the Member of Parliament for the Ketu South Constituency and serves as a Queen Mother in the Aflao Traditional Area. Her educational background is equally impressive, with a Master of Philosophy in African Studies, a Bachelor of Fine Arts with First-Class Honors, and a Diploma in Theatre Arts from the University of Ghana.
