The Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central, Kwame A Plus, has warned African leaders that they will be violently uprooted by the youth if they fail to live up to their expectations.
A Plus was speaking about the inauguration of President John Dramani Mahama and referred to the rowdy welcome Burkina Faso’s President, Ibrahim Traore, received from the public.
According to A Plus, Traore’s welcome shows how the young people of today are thinking about governance. He pointed out that most of the democratic leaders did not receive any massive welcome yet the so-called autocratic leader was cheered.
A Plus warned that if other African leaders don’t emulate the leadership and accountability of a military leader like Traore, they will be uprooted by the youth who have a different view of democracy.
