Records from Recently Booked, the website that details information on people arrested in the United States, reveal Tara R. Carr of the South Jersey Storm All Star Cheerleading organizaton has been arrested on child s*x charges.
Carr was arrested January 9, 2025 in Salem County, New Jersey, according to the publicly available records. She was booked on the specific charge of ‘lure/entice child by various means’.
The charge description indicates Carr committed s*xual assault or endangering s*xual conduct against a child older than 13 and less than 16 years of age. The 46-year-old remains in custody at the Salem County Correctional Facility. It’s not clear if she failed to post bail or has simply not yet been granted bail.
Tara Carr is known for operating the South Jersey Storm All Star Cheer & Dance organization in Sewell NJ. South Jersey Storm provides numerous cheerleading programs and mentorships that fosters ‘athleticism, teamwork, and discipline.
“From mastering stunts to perfecting routines, our program offers comprehensive training, competitions, and unforgettable experiences, fostering friendships and confidence that last a lifetime,” the program says on their website.
The news of Carr’s arrest reverberated through parent groups as many came out to display warnings about her conduct.
“Don’t take any children here. The owner (Tara Carr) is a p*dophile,” aggrieved parent Nikki Bloston wrote in a scathing review of the South Jersey Storm All Star Cheer & Dance Facebook page.
