Ghanaian man of God, Prophet Kofi Oduro, has called for women to carry out their own background checks on men who propose to them.
Oduro, speakig during a recent sermon, said men of these days are full of ‘settings’ – that is they tell women a lot of things that are not true just to impress them.
The pastor said he had a similar experience in his church when a guy who was preparing to marry a lady was found to have lied about almost everything he told her.
According to him, despite claiming to reside at Spintex, the guy was actually staying in Madina. Oduro said the guy also claimed to be a mining engineer but was actually a trotro mate!
He therefore warned ladies that this year they have to be smarter and check out the backgrounds of the guys they date.
