Lorenzo Buffa, a popular Tiktoker with over 1.2m followers has died via suicide, leaving behind an explosive note blaming his on-again, off-again ex, Ryan St Pierre.
Buffa took his life a few days ago and left behind a scheduled note to explain his actions to the world. The note was posted Sunday and immediately went viral.
Lorenzo explained in the note that he had suffered for years at the hands of Ryan St Pierre, who he essentially accused of holding him hostage as he described himself a victim of Stockholm Syndrome. Buffa said people who could have helped him failed to do so and eventually he felt he had no out other than self-harm.
“I’m sorry everyone. A few know they could have shown me love but refused and after awhile I was only left with a monster, who had broken me down over 5 years and i was trapped with stockholm syndrome feeding on the morsels of hope and love for which were rare and taken away and then punishment came,” Buffa said.
According to him, Ryan had broken him into nothing and his attempts to return from that abyss was simply not enough. Lorenzo said he is only capable of love and despite giving so much love out to Ryan, he only received evil, gaslighting, psychological torture and more from his so-called partner.
“He isolated me, broke me, and lied to me about everything,” Lorenzo wrote. “Those that knew where i spoke my silence out loud, the few who most could have helped me who knew how severe, you turned your back, so i stopped reaching out to anyone,”
Buffa expressed his regret to everyone for the cause of action he felt he has no choice but to take. He name-checked his alleged abuser as Ryan St Pierre of Buffalo.
The gut wrenching post immediately went wildly viral, sparking grief, pain and pure disbelief from the public.
“I’m so sorry we couldn’t do more for you, Lorenzo. Sending you so much love from this side, and hoping you’re with all those you love – free from all pain ❤️ you will be missed,” one comment on his Instagram read.
Meanwhile, friends of the late creator are planning a small memorial in his honor on Tuesday, Jan. 7th. 7pm at Campton Funeral Home Inc.
