A High School wrestling star, Brynn Courville of Ronan, has died, the wrestling community in Montana has announced.
Courville, of Ronan, died in a car accident, the Montana Girls High School Wrestling page wrote. They called for prayers for the Courville family and mourned the lost of a star too soon.
According to reports, a four-vehicle crash occured on Friday, January 3 near Evaro Hill in Missoula.
A semi-truck headed south on Highway 93 near mile marker 5 started to jackknife, causing the semi to rotate and cross the double-yellow line.
The semi crashed into a GMC Sierra, killing the teenage driver and his passenger, believed to be Courville. The other deceased person, the driver, is a 19-year-old of Columbia Falls.
Brynn Courville was a member of the Ronan Wrestling club, who also mourned her tragic passing. In a touching tribute featuring three dozen photos of Courville in wrestling action, she was remembered for being talented on the mat, although she was a sweetheart off it.
“It was our honor to have the privilege of watching Brynn wrestle. She was an exceptional athlete who brought a lot of talent to the sport of wrestling… We are thankful for the time we were able to see this amazing athlete perform and thankful for the incredible memories,” Ronan Wrestling said in a post on Facebook.
