A car crash took the life of Shaheer Ansari, a teen student of the Islamic Society of Central Jersey (ISCJ) Weekend school, the Islamic community in Jersey has announced.
The ISCJ announced the tragic news in a ‘Janazza, Dua, Azza alert’ released on social media Thursday, January 2.
Umber Mansoor, a family friend, wrote: “It is with great sadness that we share 15-year-old *Shaheer Ansari* passed away in a tragic accident yesterday,”
Despite being only 15, Shaheer had been very active in his community.
“Shaheer was very actively involved in the Muslim community, serving as an MYCC counselor, a Quran and Me Camp counselor, a Saturday Day School KG teaching assistant, and was one of the top volunteers at MCGP. He was a remarkable young man and a role model for both the young and the old, MashaAllah,” Mansoor added.
The later Shaheer, son of Khurram Anwer Ansari and Aliya Khurram, is set to be taken home Friday, January 3rd, in Conover Road, Millstone NJ.
