Kantamanto Workers are to Blame for the Fire Outbreak for Using Gas Cylinders and Electric Stoves – Afia Schwar Fires

U.S. based Ghanaian social media personality, Afia Schwarzenegger, has slammed traders at Kantamanto, describing them as the cause of their own troubles.

Reacting to the recent fire at the market which burned down a large portion of the market and destroyed countless stalls and properties, Afia Schwar rubbished the claims of sabotage causing the fire.

Many people have alleged that the fire was caused by political elements in either the NDC or the NPP. This is due to previous similar fires that occur whenever there is a change in government.

However, Afia Schwar blamed the traders themselves, revealing that many of them use gas cylinders to cook in their stalls, which have been fingered as contributing to the fire spreading far and wide.

She also said some use electric stoves and do not maintain them properly, all of which she said makes it easy for a fire outbreak to occur at the market.
