Some section of traders at the Kantamanto market are blaming the incoming NDC government for the fire outbreak that gutted the place earlier today.
Fire broke out at the overcrowded market in Accra in the early hours of Thursday, January 2.
The fire went out of control and destroyed the shops of countless traders, leading to loss of properties worth a substantial sum.
In a videos of some traders taken after the outbreak, they claim that the incoming government is to blame for the fire.
The traders, whose political leanings were unclear, claimed they believe the NDC are behind the fire as they want to sack the traders and sell the land to a private developer.
