A dog trainer from Arizona, Sade Johnson has tragically passed away along with her dog sparking numerous tributes from shocked friends and family.

Johnson and her dog Simba who she trained for competition both left this earth about a week before Christmas. No cause of death was listed but Johnson was hinted to have taken her life.

Her best friend, Aaliyah Martinez, announced the shocking news in a lengthy Facebook.

“My heart is broken in sharing that Sade and Simba passed away very unexpectedly the week before Christmas. To say I am shattered is an understatement,” she said. “Because of Sade, I know that platonic soulmates are real, for she is mine. She has been, and always will be, my other half in every way someone can be. I will miss her terribly for the rest of my life – something I can feel with a surety I have never experienced before.”

Ellie Allen Cook, a dog supplier who knew Sade, also chimed in. She revealed how they met, when Sade came to her for a puppy roughly seven years ago, in 2017 when Sade was only 13. She said while she did not get her a dog that day they became fast friends and remained in touch since.

“She was a wonderfully gifted dog trainer. She had an absolutely hilarious sense of humor…I’m devastated to hear the news that life finally got too hard for her. I will wonder for the rest of mine if there was something more I could have done,” said Cook.
