A call for support by philanthropist Bones Man TV on social media brought Aisha’s plight to the attention of Ibrahim Mahama. Moved by her story, Mahama, through his aide Rafik Mahama, responded swiftly to cover the full cost of her surgery, an estimated GH¢75,000.
