Stonebwoy, the Bhim Nation president, has once again taken a dig at his long-time rival, Shatta Wale, this time questioning his financial credibility and lifestyle. In an interview on Angel FM, Stonebwoy accused Shatta Wale of deceiving Ghanaians with what he described as “plenty 5 Cedis notes” instead of genuine wealth.
The remarks followed Shatta Wale’s recent gift of GH¢5,000 to MC Portfolio, which Stonebwoy dismissed as insignificant. Addressing the situation, he said, “My brother, you’ve done nothing wrong to me. If Mr. ‘Mouth’ gives you money, it’s not a problem, you just fell for his settings.” He criticized Shatta Wale for using small monetary gestures to create an impression of wealth.
Stonebwoy also called out Shatta Wale’s alleged pattern of making unverified claims. “This is the same person who said he bought a house for his mother, which turned out not to be true,” Stonebwoy pointed out. He went further, referencing Shatta Wale’s supposed ownership of a Rolls Royce. “For someone who claims to have bought a Rolls Royce but has only gone to sit in one abroad… Do you know the cars I drive? Do you know the blessings of God on my life that I don’t talk about?”
Stonebwoy’s comments have sparked mixed reactions from fans and the music community, further fueling the rivalry between these two dancehall heavyweights. Despite their ongoing feud, both artists remain dominant forces in Ghana’s music industry.
