‘Couples Should Date For 10 Years Before Getting Married’ – American rapper, Wiz Khalifa

American rapper Wiz Khalifa recently shared his views on the ideal length of courtship before marriage, suggesting that couples should date for at least 10 years before taking the plunge. Speaking on the ‘Club Shay Shay’ podcast, Wiz explained that a decade-long relationship allows partners to truly understand each other, their families, and the challenges of living together.

“People should date for 10 years before getting married because that’s long enough to know the person, their family, and who you’re going to deal with when you move in together,” Wiz said, emphasizing the importance of time in building a strong foundation for marriage.

When the topic of cohabitation came up, Wiz acknowledged that every relationship is different, and there’s no universal rule. “It depends on the situation and the circumstances. Some people move in right away and still need time to figure it out,” he explained, stressing the significance of adapting to each couple’s unique dynamics.

As a father of two, Wiz also pointed out that long-term dating allows couples to see different sides of each other. “If you don’t move in right away, you’ll learn that there’s one version of the person when you’re not sharing things and a different version when you are,” he added.
