Stop Cooking And Cleaning For A Man You Are Not Married To, He Will Take You For Granted – Pastor Oduro To Ladies

Popular Ghanaian preacher Pastor Oduro has delivered a bold message to women, urging them to stop cooking, cleaning, and performing domestic chores for men they are not married to.

He believes such actions, though deeply ingrained in Ghanaian culture, often lead to women being undervalued in relationships.

In Ghana, it is common for women to take on domestic roles in relationships, with the belief that these acts of service will showcase their value as potential wives and motivate men to marry them.

Cooking, cleaning, and even washing for a boyfriend are seen as gestures of love and commitment. However, Pastor Oduro warns that this cultural expectation may have the opposite effect.

“Ladies, stop playing the role of a wife to a man who has not married you. When you do everything for him, he has no incentive to marry you. Why will he pay for the cow when he is getting the milk for free?” Pastor Oduro stated during a recent sermon.

He explained that men often become complacent when they receive wifely privileges without committing to marriage.

Rather than being motivated to formalise the relationship, they may take these acts for granted, delaying or even avoiding marriage altogether.
