Pastor Jerry Eze, the visionary behind the online prayer platform ‘New Season Prophetic Prayers and Declaration (NSPPD)’ and lead pastor of ‘Streams of Joy International’, recently celebrated a remarkable milestone. He was awarded an honorary Doctor of Divinity degree by the University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) during its 53rd convocation ceremony.
In a heartfelt Instagram post, Pastor Eze expressed his initial disbelief at the honor, admitting he thought the offer might be a scam. “I truly thought I was being scammed when I was first contacted,” he shared. “But serving Jesus isn’t a scam! May we all end this year with Mega Congratulations in Jesus’ name!”
Accompanied by his wife, Eno Eze, Pastor Eze attended the prestigious event, where he was honored alongside notable figures, including Peter Mbah, the governor of Enugu State, who received an honorary Doctor of Law degree. The ceremony celebrated the outstanding contributions of individuals across various fields.
A graduate of Abia State University (ABSU) with a bachelor’s degree in history and international relations, Pastor Eze expressed deep gratitude for the recognition. He thanked his followers for their kind words and unwavering support, attributing the honor to God’s faithfulness and the impact of his ministry.
