A Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) Impairment task force officer, Jared Stiltner, is going viral for all the wrong reasons after effecting a completely wrong arrest.
Stiltner in August this year stopped a man who was out boating with his family on suspicion of boating under the influence.
Despite having no evidence of this and conducting a field test, Stiltner still managed to come to the wrong conclusion and wrongfully and unlawfully arrested the victim right before his pregnant wife, kids and family friends.
Following his arrest the victim vowed to fight the cops and ensure justice is served for the humiliation he was forced to suffer before his family.
Bodycam footage of the incident was shared online by the Donny Rapture Youtube channel as well as some quotes from officer Jared Stiltner’s report which began: “At approximately 17:18, on 8/21/2024, Officer Stiltner of the Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), along with Officer Gilmore, also of FWC, were on water-based patrol in the Loxahatchee River in Palm Beach County, FL. A vessel bearing Florida Registration Number ***** was observed operating westbound outside the channel in the Loxahatchee River, approaching a shoal in a Slow Speed Minimum Wake Zone…. The owner and operator of the vessel was identified by name and date of birth during the stop.”

Social media users were furious at the officer’s behaviour in the video.
“Based upon the officers definition of signs of impairment, the officer should arrest himself ASAP,” read one comment on YouTube.

Another comment on X (formerly Twitter) read: “Why does Officer Stiltner still have a job? He’s a complete tyrant and definitely said bellhorn more than just a few times,”
Meanwhile, a request has been filed under Florida’s Sunshine Law to ascertain details of Officer Stiltner’s record. It’s unclear how long the state will take to fulfil the request, which they already responded to.
