Ghanaians on social media are in a jubilant mood after the announcement of a five-member team set up by former President and the next leader of Ghana, John Dramani Mahama, to head up his ORAL initiative.
ORAL, or Operation Recover All Loot, is an initiative by the incoming government to retrieve monies stolen by current appointees of the NPP government.
The promise of ORAL has excited Ghanaians and Mahama in accordance with his campaign promise has named a five member team to begin process.
Heading the team is the Member of Parliament (MP) for North Tongu, Samuel Okudzeto Ablakwa, who is the Chairman. Other members include former Auditor General Daniel Domelevo, COP (Rtd) Kofi Boakye, private legal practitioner Martin Kpebu, and investigative journalist Raymond Archer.

The news has excited Ghanaians who are celebrating on social media.
“We hope a lot of people who looted this nation are jailed,” one user commented.
