The Founder and Leader of New Force Movement, Nana Kwame Bediako, otherwise known as Cheddar has been accused by his polling agents of refusing to pay them an amount promised them during the 2024 general elections.
According to reports and a circulating message from one of the agents, the individuals were recruited to serve as polling station agents in the Suame Constituency at Kronum KSI.
They were promised an amount of GH₵200 each as compensation for their efforts. However, following the completion of their work, none of the agents has received the said amount, a situation that has left many of them feeling used and abandoned.
One of the aggrieved agents shared his ordeal in a note that has gone viral. He described how he and others arrived at the polling stations as early as morning without receiving food, water, or any form of support.
Despite these challenges, they worked diligently, only to be disappointed when they were informed—via an audio message from one of the party’s bosses—that the GH₵200 payment had been reduced to GH₵100 without explanation.
“We were there recently, and one of the bosses dropped an audio in a group chat, saying the GH₵200 has been reduced to GH₵100. All of us are speechless,” the agent stated.
The polling agents are now demanding answers and action from Nana Kwame Bediako, hoping for a positive feedback.
