Ghanaian comic actor, Kwadwo Nkansah Lilwin, has revealed he has plans to contest as a Member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabre North in the Ashanti Region during the next elections.
Lilwin revealed this during a recent interview reacting to the results of the 2024 elections.
Nkansah expressed happiness that many young people particularly those in the creative arts sector, are being elected to Parliament.
Popular actor, John Dumelo, was elected as the Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon in the Greater Accra Region, while 3Music CEO Baba Sadiq won the Okaikwei North Seat. Controversial musician turned activist, Kwame Asare Obeng aka A Plus, was also elected as the member of Parliament for Gomoa Central as an Independent Candidate.
Lilwin added that in four years time, he would become the next creative arts star to be elected into office as the next MP of Afigya Kwabre North.
