Aaron Snook, of Wichita Kansas, has been identified by several online reports as the victim of an hunting accident that occurred Saturday, December 14th, 2024. Authorities are yet to formally release an identity.
The accident occurred just after 7 a.m. on Saturday near Burton, according to the Harvey County Sheriff’s Office and the Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks. A man died from a gunshot wound from the hunting accident. Both agencies are conducting investigations into the tragedy.
Snook, according to Facebook, is a graduate of Bishop Carroll High School and Kansas State University. He is a hunting afficionado, according to multiple photos on his social media pages. A LinkedIn account with a similar name lists him as a Vice President of Seeders Inc, although it’s not clear if its the same individual.
Authorities are yet to officially announce the deceased but social media is speculating about his/her identity, with many landing on Snook. However, the determination of the victim’s identity can only be confirmed once law enforcement carries out their investigations, notify families and release a name. Social media users however
don’t have that patience and insist they already identified the victim. Time will tell if they were right.
