Evin Shiffer, Terra Nova High School Student Reported Dead

Evin Shiffer, a student of Terra Nova High School in California has passed away.

Shiffer’s death was announced by his family in a GoFundMe fundraiser organized in his honor. He was 17.

“With heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking news of the sudden and tragic passing of Evin Shiffer, a bright and cherished 17 year-old student at Terra Nova High and alumni of Cabrillo School,” the fundraiser, organized by Sophia Templin of Pacifica, CA read. No cause of death was given but reports indicate he passed in an accident.

The family described the loss as devastating and called for help in easing the financial burden brought about by Evin’s death.

“Along with funeral expenses, the family faces additional unexpected costs, including counseling for loved ones, memorial arrangements, and other incidentals,” the fundraiser added.

The GoFundMe for Evin Shiffer easily met its target, raising the goal of $35,000 in no time. The proceeds are intended for Shana Shiffer, his mother.
