Nigerian music superstar Davido, also known as David Adeleke, couldn’t help but boast about his incredible network during the Elevate Africa programme. The singer proudly declared that he has the phone numbers of 14 sitting presidents, thanks to the doors his music has opened for his family.
“Forget the money,” he said, “I have 14 presidents’ phone numbers. I can call them directly whenever I want.”
Davido went on to reveal that in every country he visits, the president himself wants to meet him. “That’s not just fame; it’s promoting our culture on a global scale. It’s an amazing feeling to know how far my music has taken me, and my family.”
