Social media has slammed the mother of gospel singer Perez Muzik’s new wife over several interviews she’s given attacking her daughter.

Okailey, who recently got married to the gospel star, has not had a moment of peace as the wedding has been making headlines for all the wrong reasons.

In a recent interview, her mother revealed that she’s not party to the wedding because she was only informed about it two weeks to the ceremony and she had never met the guy she was getting married to.

Okailey’s mom said even despite this disrespect she attended the traditional ceremony but even then, she was not given a prominent place as befits her.

She therefore said she considers herself not party to the wedding and she has not given her blessing. She said she has nothing to do with her daughter or her marriage and said she does not even want the things that were given to her as the mother of the bride.

Her outburst angered social media users who came for her.

“You call yourself a mother and you are quick to come on social media to sell out your own daughter,” one user commented.

Another wrote: “A mother don’t wash your dirty clothes outside…let them enjoy their marriage!”
