Kumawood Is Not Dead; Everyone Is Just Busy – Vivian Jill

Vivian Jill, celebrated Kumawood actress and producer, has assured fans that the Kumawood film industry is still alive and thriving, despite the challenges it faces.

In a recent viral interview, Vivian dispelled rumors about the industry’s decline, explaining that the perceived slowdown is mainly due to the busy schedules of its top stars. “It’s not that there’s an issue with Kumawood or the industry. Everyone is just busy,” she clarified.

Sharing her personal experience, Vivian recounted how challenging it can be to gather stars for a single project. “Right now, everyone is busy. Even I am about to start a new project,” she said. “If you call anyone, they are all occupied. I recently worked on a project and tried to reach Nana Ama McBrown, but she was tied up with something else. I called Mathilda, and she was also on set. Last week, I needed another actress, but she couldn’t make it because she was also on set.”

Vivian emphasized that Kumawood continues to produce movies and is far from dead. She expressed optimism for the industry’s future and hinted at plans for a significant project that could bring together some of Kumawood’s biggest names, such as Agya Koo and Lil Win. “It’s just a matter of getting everyone at once. But we’ll definitely be doing something big to show that Kumawood is still here and thriving,” she added.

Her comments address ongoing concerns about Kumawood, which has been criticized for facing economic challenges, lack of support, and even bizarre allegations of witchcraft. Vivian’s reassuring words come as a positive message to fans, reinforcing that Kumawood remains vibrant and prepared for a comeback.
