Dilon Baby, a popular young reggae and dancehall star from the Dominican Republic, has spoken out about a viral video of his known girlfriend Masha being assaulted.

The Masha video stunned social media when it was released, going viral on platforms like X (formerly Twitter). The disturbing video showed Masha mostly in the n*de with her hands and feet bound and mouth gagged, being physically and verbally assaulted by a male figure.

Dilon Baby, who has been a longtime love interest and professional collaborator with Masha, was quickly fingered as the culprit in the video, although his face was never seen. Social media users pinpointed the voice and his known association with Masha as reasons why he is guilty.

That quickly triggered Dilon Baby to also come out to defend himself. In a video shared on his TikTok, he denied being the one assaulting her. According to him, he has not seen Masha in months and actually has a restraining order out against her. Dilon said people were blaming him without actually knowing the facts.

He concluded by saying that he currently has a girlfriend and is not involved with Masha in any way. Dilon Baby called on his girlfriend to prove that he has indeed moved on from Masha.

Fan reactions to the video has been mixed with some fully supporting him and others calling him out.

“Gentlemen, that voice is not Dilon’s, listen carefully for God’s sake 😒,” one user said, denying his involvement in the Masha video

Another said; “You hear his voice saying give it 2 so I can turn it up, we’re not crazy,”

Dilon Baby is a popular reggae/dancehall musician from Santo Domingo who has collaborated with artists such as Menor Queen and Yeo Freko. In 2023, he collaborated with Leo RD on the song Yo Soy Dominicano. Dilon Baby was born Steven Diloné Serrata on May 28, 2005 in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic. He is 19 years old.
