James Mitchell, a Queensbury NY father is being mourned following his tragic death in a car accident.

Mitchell’s death occurred in a fatal traffic collision on Saturday, November 23, 2024. Details of the crash that took his life are yet to be publicly revealed.

Distraught family members announced the tragic news on social media, revealing how devastated they were.

“I cannot put in words the type of pain I feel right now. I shouldn’t even be making a post about this, life is so unfair!! I got the most gut wrenching call around 2am this morning that I still cannot process. This man has been in my life for as long as I can remember,” niece Jazmine Harris said. “He is the life of the party and will always make sure you have a smile on your face. My condolences go out to the rest of the family!!”

Friend Valeri Collier also expressed immense shock. “I can’t believe this is real. James Mitchell I will always love you buddy. The most thoughtful, helpful guy. One of my best friends and family for life. You will be missed so much, by so many people. Life’s not fair,” she wrote.

Mitchell leaves behind his wife and two kids. He worked at North Country Subaru, according to his Facebook bio.
