Social media has slammed the NPP’s Vice Presidential candidate, Dr Matthew Opoku Prempeh aka NAPO, and his spokesperson, accusing them of lying.
This stems from a recent interview in which NAPO’s spokesperson attempted to attach a different meaning to his recent accidental endorsement of ex-President Mahama.
During a campaign speech with an NPP Parliamentary candidate, NAPO mistakenly called for Ghanaians to vote for Mahama and the NPP’s candidate.
He slipped up and said Mahama twice before being prompted and he corrected himself.
Instead of accepting the mistake and moving on, NAPO sent out his spokesperson to claim that he mentioned Mahama’s name to highlight his poor record.
However, the explanation was completely rejected by Ghanaians.
“If your mother is dead, but you say she is sleeping……add stonebwoy latest to it😂😂😂😂” one user said.
