‘Stonebwoy’s Fans Are Very Gullible’ – Sally Mann

Controversial media personality Sally Mann has addressed the backlash she faced from Stonebwoy’s fans following comments she made about the Dancehall artist.

In an interview with Hitz FM on November 22, 2024, Mann described Stonebwoy’s fans as “gullible” and clarified that her remarks were not meant to discredit his achievements

Her comments sparked controversy when she discussed how the entertainment industry seemed to favor Stonebwoy over his rival, Shatta Wale. She criticized Shatta Wale for disrespecting media figures and pointed out that many in the industry were rallying behind Stonebwoy, believing he deserved a Grammy push. However, some of Stonebwoy’s supporters misinterpreted her words, thinking she was suggesting that his achievements weren’t earned but instead were the result of media-driven promotion.

In her response, Mann clarified, “I never discredited Stonebwoy’s accomplishments. They are insulting themselves, those BHIM fans are very gullible.” She further explained that her comments were part of a longer discussion where she praised Stonebwoy’s work and advocated for him to receive more support.
