Sean Wallace Jordan, a Colleyville man has been arrested and charged following a wrong-way accident and subsequent shooting in Southlake TX.
Jordan, 19, hit multiple cars with his van then pulled out a gun and started shooting. Thankfully, no one was hurt, including Jordan himself, after police returned fire at him.
The Southlake Police Department (PD) were called to Southlake Boulevard between Carroll and Central avenues, right in front of Central Market, at around 9:30 a.m. Friday, November 22nd in regards to a wrong-way driver.
The driver was driving when he made a U-turn and started speeding the wrong-way down East Southlake Boulevard. This led to him striking several vehicles before he eventually crashed. Eyewitnesses said he wasn’t stopping at any lights and was just speeding towards cars headed from the opposite direction.
Jordan also pulled out a rifle and started shooting once Southlake PD arrived on-scene. He shot at other drivers and the police officer, who also returned fire.
Jordan was taken into custody. He is now charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon.
Authorities say Jordan may face additional charges pending the outcome of the investigation. It’s currently unclear what led to his erratic actions on the day.
