NDC Communicator and the spokesperson for former President John Dramani Mahama, Joyce Bawa Mogtari, has slammed the second lady, Samira Bawumia, for breaking the rules of decorum in Ghanaian politics.
According to Mogtari, Samira Bawumia in 2016 broke one of Ghana politics unspoken rules when she launched personal attacks against former President Mahama.
Samira called Mahama incompetent at the time, joining the chorus of the NPP ahead of the 2016 elections.
Bawa Mogtari said Samira in doing that became the first spouse of a Presidential or Vice Presidential candidate to launch personal attacks against her husband’s political opponents.
She commended first ladies Lordina Mahama and Rebecca Akufo-Addo for their maturity in handling their offices.
Mogtari branded Samira a disgrace and rubbished her attempts to convince Ghanaians to vote for her husband after his massive failure.
