Cody Nash, a flight paramedic with Pafford Medical Services in Johnson County, Arkansas, has died, sparking tributes from all who knew him.
Nash’s death has stunned his local community as well as his colleagues with many taking to social media to reveal what a great person he was.
Pafford Medical Services announced the tragic news in a statement shared online.
“It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of a dear friend and colleague of Pafford Medical Services.
We mourn the loss of Cody Nash, Clinical Education Lead, Operations Manager, and Flight Paramedic, but most of all husband, father, son, and great friend,” the post read. “Cody had a heart for service, a mind for education, instruction, and skill, and a soul filled with kindness for all who crossed his path.”
Nash started his career as an EMT and advanced to the paramedic level within four years. He eventually advanced to his current position, holding various roles such as Lead Operations Manager for Pafford Medical Services, Clinical Services Training Coordinator, and Flight Paramedic for Pafford Air Med. He has 13 years of experience.
Cody Nash has been praised by colleagues for his work ethic, dedication, calm demeanor and quick thinking.
He was married to Allison Nash with whom he had two kids.
Colleagues, friends and more all took to social media to pay tribute to Nash. Arkansas First Reponders remembered him with one last post.
“Medic Nash served the citizens with good faith and integrity. May his memory forever be embedded in our hearts as his brothers and sisters continue to serve the citizens and ensure the public safety and public wellness of the community. He will be deeply missed,” they wrote.
