‘I Grew Up In A Room With 20 People’ – Nigerian Content Creator Ashmusy Reveals Childhood Hardships And Dismisses Politician Romance Claims

Published by

Social media influencer and skit maker Amarachi Amusi, widely known as Ashmusy, has opened up about her difficult childhood and addressed several controversies surrounding her personal life. In a candid conversation on Chude Jideonwo’s podcast, #WithChude, Ashmusy shed light on her upbringing, her struggles, and the challenges of dealing with public scrutiny.

Ashmusy revealed that she grew up in a single room and parlor shared by 20 people. Her family faced severe financial difficulties, with loan sharks frequently seizing their belongings because her mother couldn’t repay debts. Despite these challenges, Ashmusy worked hard to improve her family’s situation, even purchasing a car for her mother.

The influencer also tackled persistent rumors linking her romantically to former Kogi West Senator Dino Melaye. These allegations, which surfaced last year, claimed Melaye had a threesome with Ashmusy and fellow content creator Nons Miraj. Ashmusy dismissed the claims as completely false, describing them as both frustrating and hurtful.

“It’s painful when people believe such lies,” she said, adding, “I can’t relate to dating a politician or doing runs. My success is my own hard work, not tied to any man.” “If we were even close friends, it would have made some sense. But these accusations were baseless, and it hurt to see people believe them,” she explained.

Despite facing criticism from social media, Ashmusy remains focused on her career, determined to show that her achievements stem from her dedication and resilience.
