Rev. Christian Andrews, leader of the Ghana Union Movement (GUM), has raised concerns about the readiness of Vice President and NPP Flagbearer Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia to lead Ghana. In an interview on Neat FM, Rev. Andrews argued that Bawumia lacks the life experience necessary to manage a country.
“Bawumia is not mature in life to rule the country,” he stated. The show’s host highlighted that former President John Kufuor once praised Bawumia after a presentation, calling him a “man of destiny” and “a man of the moment,” recognizing his impressive theoretical knowledge. However, Rev. Andrews countered that leadership is not just about theory but requires practical action.
He further remarked that since assuming the role of Vice President, Bawumia has not implemented changes to improve the country’s current living conditions, suggesting that he falls short of what Ghana needs in a leader.
