The South Korean entertainment industry is grieving the untimely loss of beloved actor Song Jae-Rim, who passed away at the age of 39. The actor, known for his memorable roles in “The Moon Embracing the Sun” and “Queen Woo,” was found lifeless in his Seoul apartment on November 12, 2024.

A friend discovered him when they arrived for a planned lunch together. Authorities found a two-page letter at the scene, although its contents have yet to be revealed. While the official cause of death has not been confirmed, there are speculations that it may have been suicide.

Born on February 18, 1985, Song Jae-Rim started his career as a model before making his acting debut in 2009 with the film “Actresses.” He quickly gained recognition for his role as a royal guard in the 2012 historical drama “The Moon Embracing the Sun” and continued to captivate audiences with roles in various films and TV dramas. His talent and dedication earned him a special place in the hearts of fans.

His funeral is set for November 14, 2024, at a funeral home in Yeouido, where family, friends, and fans will gather to bid their final farewell.
