Actor Kofi Adu, popularly known as Agya Koo, recently addressed rumors about a supposed rivalry with fellow actor Kwadwo Nkansah, also known as Lilwin, during an interview on Lawson Radio in Kumasi. Agya Koo clarified that there’s no issue between them, emphasizing that they share a good relationship. However, he noted that it’s human nature for people to create drama where none exists.
To illustrate his point, Agya Koo compared their situation to past rumors about other Ghanaian stars. “It’s just like how people said Anthony Yeboah and Abedi Pele were at odds, or that Daddy Lumba and Nana Acheampong were feuding,” he said.
Agya Koo recalled being on set when Lilwin was first introduced as a promising comedian with potential to become a star. “I encouraged them to bring him in because we were on a mission to surpass Nigerian actors. If someone had talent, it was only right to support them,” he explained.
He concluded by reiterating that there’s no tension between them, despite what some may assume. “When Lilwin greets me, I always respond warmly,” Agya Koo said, dismissing the rumors as completely unfounded.
