Popular comedian Oluwaseyitan Aletile, famously known as Seyi Law, recently shared a personal story about discovering he was being spiritually monitored through a gift from a friend. In a post on his X handle, Seyi Law recounted how he learned of the alleged surveillance in 2016 during a personal prayer vigil.

According to him, as he prayed that night, he received a divine revelation that an item in his house was being used as a tool for spiritual monitoring. He eventually identified the object as a pair of shoes gifted by a friend. Acting on this revelation, Seyi Law’s wife took the shoes and burned them, and soon afterward, she became pregnant with their daughter.

Reflecting on the incident, Seyi Law noted that the friend who gifted him the shoes has since avoided visiting his home, despite repeated invitations, which he found suspicious. The comedian warned others to be cautious about accepting gifts, saying, “I wish it was only a mirror they could use to monitor someone sha. One must be very careful of gifts.” He added that prior to this experience, he had been doubtful of people claiming they received messages from God but has since changed his perspective.
