“Vote For Bawumia To Keep Ghana Moving Forward” – President Akufo-Addo Urges Ghanaians

Published by

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has urged Ghanaians not to vote for John Dramani Mahama and the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the upcoming December elections, warning that doing so would reverse Ghana’s progress. He argued that Mahama and the NDC offer no fresh ideas or innovative policies to tackle Ghana’s current issues.

Speaking to chiefs and elders in the Western North Region, President Akufo-Addo highlighted Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the ruling party’s presidential candidate, as a symbol of renewed hope and growth for Ghana. He described Dr. Bawumia as a forward-thinking leader capable of advancing modernization and economic development, contrasting this with what he portrayed as stagnation under previous NDC administrations.

President Akufo-Addo also recalled the collapse of Kumasi Brewery under Mahama’s leadership, challenging the NDC’s vision of implementing a 24-hour economy. He remarked, “You want to implement a 24-hour economy, but the one you inherited, you couldn’t manage. Let us not make the mistake of going backward. Let us support Bawumia to lead Ghana to new heights.”
