Shatta Wale, has fired back at Black Sherif after the young artist mocked him on social media. During a Twitter Space on Monday, November 4, 2024, Shatta Wale warned Black Sherif to stop making silly moves and reminded him that he’s known for ending other people’s careers.

According to Shatta Wale, he never criticized Black Sherif’s style, as some blogs had reported. In fact, he mentioned that he actually complimented the young artist. “You no get sense as a young boy to go and sit down and listen to the good things I said about you,” Shatta said during a Twitter Space on November 4, 2024. He went on to explain that while he might have found some of Black Sherif’s fashion choices confusing, he didn’t mean it as a criticism. “Where in that interview did I say you don’t know dressing? Your dressing is nice, some of them I don’t understand, but you’re the one doing fashion, you have to come explain.”

In response to Black Sherif’s Snapchat post, Shatta Wale gave him a warning, advising him to be careful of the industry’s negative influences. He reminded Black Sherif that he’s been known to end careers in the past and cautioned him against making reckless decisions. “You didn’t even take time to understand the good things I said about you,” Shatta continued.

Shatta Wale also pointed out that this situation felt similar to past rumors that tried to create tension between him and Sarkodie. He emphasized that he has no ill will towards Black Sherif and that there’s no need for rivalry between them.
