Controversial socialite Bobrisky has cleared the air about his temporary departure from Nigeria after two failed attempts to leave the country. The crossdresser, who had been stopped twice amid rumors of an impending jail term, took to social media to share an update on his situation.
In his recent post, Bobrisky confirmed that he had successfully left Nigeria but clarified that the move was not permanent. According to him, the reason behind his departure was to focus on his mental health and well-being after facing challenges in the country.
“Yes, I’m here to confirm I’m out of Nigeria temporarily. I need to attend to my sanity and my health,” he wrote.
Bobrisky also opened up about the difficulties he encountered, alleging harassment from Nigerian security agencies. He expressed frustration over their actions but maintained a positive attitude, relying on his faith to get him through. “A few Nigerian security agencies tried everything to frustrate me, but naaa, I gat God,” he added.
The social media star went on to share that he had to purchase three business class tickets, but only one of the flights was successful. Despite the challenges, he managed to travel on November 3rd, 2024. He also revealed the hefty cost of each ticket, noting that he had spent 9.8 million naira per flight and hoped to be refunded for the two tickets he could not use.
“Imagine buying a business class ticket three times, and only one was successful. I hope I get refunded for the two I didn’t use, even though I know it’s not their fault. Each ticket cost me 9,800,000. But I finally flew on the 3rd of November,” Bobrisky shared.
He also took a moment to address any potential critics, encouraging them to check their financial status before making negative comments about his situation. “Before you come to my page to type nonsense, check your account balance and see if you can afford three business class tickets, let alone buy them three times,” he said.
For now, Bobrisky seems to be focusing on his well-being and remains unbothered by any negativity. “Well, I’m not in Nigeria, so your comments mean nothing. Cheers!” he concluded.
