American musician and producer Nawlage (pronounced Knowledge) 2k5, has passed away, with news of his death sparking shock within the music community.
Nawlage died on Friday, November 1st, 2024, according to multiple sources who shared the sad news on social media. No cause of death was given.
News of his death stunned all who knew him, worked with him and loved his music. Tributes started being sent out to the late producer.
DJ Millz was stunned, writing: “Damnnn Nawlage! 💔 We made alot of great music together! 978 Dancehall 🐐 Rest easy my bro #RIP”
Mr 750 Himself, @therealkidstar on Instagram, also said: “Rip My Brother Nawlage 2k5 🙏”
Nawlage real name Aquiles Espinosa was a Recording Artist and record Producer known for his work in the Dancehall, Hip Hop, Latin & R&B genres. Starting out as a recording artist, he later transitioned to production where he became a mainstay behind the scenes, creating some of the biggest hits in his genres.

Nawlage was particularly notable for hhs high standard of service and fast turnaround time. He was highly sought after in any credible music scene across the United States, working in cities and states such as Boston, New York, Atlanta, Tampa, Rhode Island, Pennsylvania, and Toronto. He was associated with the Grand Bay Recording Studios prior to his death.
In addition to his musical contributions, Nawlage has been involved in community initiatives. For instance, he participated in the “Voice Your Vote 2020” project aimed at encouraging civic engagement among musicians and their fans.
