Mylie Sharp, a 17-year-old has been declared a missing person by her family after disappearing in NE Houston.
Sharp’s family announced her disappearance in a post shared to social media pleading for help.
“Our daughter did not come home at curfew last night, and her phone is off,” the plea from her parents, written by her father Ryan Hawthorne read. “She has been missing for about 11 hours now. She did not take any of her belongings with her, or contacts or glasses. A police report has been filed, and she could be in the humble or NE Houston area. Please contact us if you have any info, and share.”
Sharp was last seen on October 30th, 2024 in the 6200 block of Kingwood Glen Drive in Northeast Houston. She was wearing a pink/red shirt, blue jean shorts, black converse shoes and a marron purse.
Mylie stands at 5’5″ and weighs 150 lbs. Her parents believe she could be in the area of Humble or NE Houston.

“Praying for her, but parents please quit sheltering your children from the dangers in this world. Talk to them at a young age, explain to them that not everyone they encounter is good or safe. Protect your children without camouflaging risk,” one social media user said.
